王烁先生现任财新传媒主编、财新《新世纪》主编、财新网(caixin.com)总编辑。

王烁于1995至1998年担任《人民日报》国际编辑，于1998年加入《财经》直至2009年11月，是《财经》的创始人之一，曾担任《财经》执行主编。他领导的编辑记者团队在国际上屡获殊荣，曾获国际调查报道学会“2003年度杰出国际调查新闻奖荣誉提名奖”和哥伦比亚大学新闻学院颁发的“2004年古柯索国际新闻奖荣誉提名奖”。2011年10月，王烁领导的财新传媒作为“独立媒体的先锋”，获得斯坦福大学颁发的2011年度肖伦斯特新闻奖。2012年，王烁获选世界经济论坛年度“全球青年领袖”。

Shuo Wang is Managing Editor of Caixin Media, Managing Editor of Caixin Century Weekly and Editor-in-Chief of Caixin Online (Caixin.com).

Shuo Wang co-founded Caijing magazine together with Ms. Hu Shuli in 1998, and has been the managing editor of Caijing magazine and Caijing.com.cn. Before Caijing, he began his career in journalism as an international editor at the government-owned newspaper People’s Daily in 1995. The editorial team under his leadership won a series of awards, including the 2011 Shorenstein Journalism Award by Stanford University, Honorable Mention in Kurt Schork Memorial Awards in International Journalism by Columbia University in 2004 and Finalist in the 2003 International Consortium of Investigative Journalist Awards for Outstanding International Investigative Reporting.

Shuo Wang was honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2012.
