欧雷强 John Oyler 百济神州　创始人兼首席执行官 Founder & CEO, BeiGene

欧雷强先生来自美国宾夕法尼亚州匹兹堡。他曾多次创业，是中国生物技术产业的先驱。他目前任职百济神州的创始人兼首席执行官。百济神州公司现有员工150人，是一家生命科学公司，总部位于北京，致力于研发创新肿瘤药物，以缓解在中国乃至亚太地区的医疗需求缺口。2011年，欧雷强先生入选“中关村高端领军人才”，百济神州因此获得100万元奖励资金。

创办百济神州之前，欧雷强先生创立了保诺科技公司（位于北京的综合研究外包研发机构，员工700人），该公司后被 PPD 公司收购并给投资者带来了丰厚的回报。欧雷强先生还曾担任Galenea公司（位于美国波士顿的生物科技公司）首席执行官，Genta公司（公开交易的抗肿瘤药物研发公司）联席首席执行官，Telephia公司（移动通信公司，后被尼尔森公司收购）创始人和总裁。

欧雷强先生早年供职于麦肯锡公司。他在麻省理工学院获得生物力学工程学士学位，后再在斯坦福大学商学院获得工商管理硕士学位。

John Oyler is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a serial entrepreneur and a pioneer in China’s biotechnology industry. He is currently the Founder & CEO of BeiGene, a 150-person, Beijing-based life sciences company focusing on discovering and developing innovative oncology drugs to address unmet medical needs in the China and Asia-Pacific region. In 2011, John was designated by the Chinese Government as a “Zhongguan Cun Leading Talent,” an award that resulted in a 1 Million RMB grant for BeiGene.

Prior to BeiGene, John founded BioDuro, a 700-person integrated research CRO in Beijing later sold to PPD with attractive returns. John has also served as the CEO of Galena, a Boston-based biotech company, the Co-CEO of Genta, a publically-traded oncology company and as the Former Founder and President of Telephia, a mobile company eventually bought by Nielsen.

John spent his early career at McKinsey & Company. He earned his bachelor’s degree at MIT in Biomechanical Engineering and his MBA at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
