The world economy is just showing primary signs of an upturn. However, global politics are further destabilized with increasing uncertainties, in which medium-and-long-term structural problems of the world economy remain to be addressed. With the focus of "Belt and Road", China is building a new pattern of all-round opening, where it actively participates in restructuring the global political and economic landscape and searches for momentum for medium-and-long-term sustainable growth of the world economy. Following the 19th CPC National Congress, which launched a new journey of comprehensively building a great modern socialist country, the principle contradiction of China’s historic task is changing. In such a context, the country will usher in the 40th anniversary of Reform and Opening-up in 2018, as its reform is gearing up for revitalization towards comprehensive in-depth progress.
