Bai Yunwen biographical notes

Bai Yunwen assists the President in organizational operations and administrative management, and concurrently serves as the Director of the Financing Natural Captial Solutions Center. She has been actively involved in research on climate investment and financing, as well as natural capital, and has led and participated in numerous domestic and international collaborative projects and research topics. Since 2010, she has been closely engaging with the UNFCCC process on international climate finance for a consecutive period of ten years, focusing on issues related to mitigation, carbon markets, and financial mechanisms. She also heads the Taskforce on Biodiversity Finance of The Green Finance Committee of China Society for Finance and Banking (GFC), conducting in-depth research on ecological financing, blue finance, and the realization of ecological product value.Yunwen  has been a Visiting Research Fellow on sustainable finance at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment of Oxford University from 2013 to 2014. She  holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester, and a second Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University.
