He is the Country Head, Chairman and CEO of Snam SpA affiliated entities in China and India and part of the senior leadership team of the company which is a large European energy multinational organisation, pioneer in hydrogen and green fuels transportation and storage. He is also a 2024 EMBA graduate at HEC .
He sits on the Board of Directors of both Snam China and Snam India; he has been elected to member of the Advisory Council of the China Italy Chamber of Commerce and he is also a Member of the Board of Advisors of the EU-China Chamber of Commerce His core expertise are energy transition and corporate strategies, reaching net zero, sustainability, hydrogen, CCS and biofuels generation, transportation, storage, and downstream applications. Davide has worked his entire career at top-tier energy corporations such as the ENI Group and Saipem, TotalEnergies and lastly Snam. He holds a bachelor’s degree in financial economics and trade from Catholic University in Milan graduating in 2005 and a master’s degree in finance and economics from Catholic University in Milan and Tsinghua University in China, graduating in 2008.
Davide is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish and has a good command of Chinese Mandarin, he has lived and worked in each of the five continents and is a passionate skier, golfer and traveller who managed to set foot in over 150 countries. He is also a long-term member of Mensa a non-profit society open to individuals scoring above 98th percentile in IQ test. Lastly, he is the elected President of AICCA ONLUS a nonprofit Italian congenital heart defects association he co-founded in 2009.
