Cao Li is Vice President of the BFA Academy, leading research work on green transition, digital economy, globalization and sustainable development. She ever took positions of Deputy Director-General of the International Department of the Pople’s Bank of China, overseeing PBC’s cooperation with the BIS, FSB, BCBS and MDBs, Special Advisor to PBC Frankfurt Office, as well as Advisor to the Executive Director for China at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the People’s University of China and Master’s degree in Finance from Tsinghua-PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University.
