2018中国改革横琴论坛

Amidst escalating global challenges, achieving sustainable growth has transcended from being a luxury to a necessity. Consequently, the global community has reached consensus to enhance investments in climate action and sustainable development. This unity culminated in the establishment of the Global Blended Finance (GBF) Alliance during the Indonesian G20 Presidency in 2022, marking a significant stride.

Blended finance now plays a pivotal role in mobilizing private capital and bridging financial gaps in developing countries. The deployment of these funds, both domestic and international, in driving social and environmental progress while yielding financial returns is a subject of great interest. Particularly, evaluating the ESG strategies and impacts of Chinese enterprises expanding globally will help achieve the vast potential of impact investing, and ultimately facilitate a just, inclusive and sustainable growth with common prosperity.

In pursuit of this promising horizon, Caixin, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, is organizing a high-level, interactive roundtable titled “Caixin Roundtable: Impact Investing in Asia”. This event will convene approximately 40 eminent leaders from the realms of business, finance, and academia. This event aims to foster collaboration, inspire action, and amplify awareness, propelling us collectively towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
