To address urgent issues such as poverty, inequality, and climate change, as well as to improve education quality and enhance health and well-being, impact investing has become a vital force driving social, environmental, and financial progress. In Asia, impact investing remains in its early stages. As an international financial hub, Hong Kong offers fertile ground for impact investing. Strengthening cooperation in impact investment between Hong Kong, mainland China, and ASEAN countries is crucial for unlocking its potential and effectively bridging capital with the real economy.

"Caixin Asia Roundtable: Impact Investing in Asia – Unlocking Potential Through Collaboration" aims to bring together industry thought leaders, experts, and investors to explore the opportunities in Asia’s impact investment market. The roundtable will discuss ways for different markets and stakeholders to engage in impact investing, pathways for collaboration between Hong Kong and mainland China, the development of industry standards, and the improvement of infrastructure and connectivity. This will contribute to advancing regional cooperation in impact investing and inject new momentum into Asia's sustainable economic development.
