胡晓勤女士现为苏黎世财产保险（中国）有限公司首席执行官。

胡晓勤女士于2009年4月加入苏黎世保险集团，她自1981年始进入中国保险业并拥有丰富的行业经验。再加入苏黎世之前，胡女士曾担任美国国际集团（AIG）美亚财产保险（中国）有限公司董事暨资深副总裁。

1984年，胡女士曾担任达信保险顾问公司北京代表处首席代表，成为国内在外资保险公司的第一位本土首席代表。

胡晓勤女士于1990年开始担任美国国际集团北京代表处任首席代表，并在1992年协助美国国际集团（AIG）获得中国地区第一张外资保险公司营业执照，此执照为1949年以来颁发给外资保险公司的第一张营业执照。从1992年到1997年，担任友邦保险上海分公司副总经理，1997年到2007年担任美亚保险上海分公司总经理。

Mme. Karen Hu is Chief Executive Officer of Zurich General Insurance Company (China) Limited. She joined Zurich in April, 2009. Karen has an extensive experience in China Insurance industry since 1981. Prior to joining Zurich, Karen was the Board Director & SVP of AIG General Insurance Company (China) Limited.

In 1984, Karen was appointed as Chief Representative for Marsh & McLennan Beijing Office, which made her the first native Chief Representative for insurance companies in China.

In 1990, Karen took up the position of Chief Representative of AIG in Beijing. She participated in the effort of getting AIA's operating license in 1992, which was the first operating license ever granted to a foreign insurance company since 1949. Karen served as the Deputy General Manager of AIA Shanghai from 1992 until she was named as the GM of AIU Shanghai in 1997 and serviced at the said post until November 2007.
